Being a TV camera operator might seem like an easy job. You just point the camera at the person talking and that’s it, right? Well, not really. Sure there’s the “point and shoot” part of the job, but there’s so much more to it than that.
In addition to having to know how the camera works inside and out, you’re also responsible for maintaining the bad boy. Part of that maintenance involves cleaning the lens every once in a while. It sounds simple, but forgetting about it can lead to some very *ahem* interesting live television.
