A Deer Was Stuck In The Middle Of A Canal, But Two Cowboys Jumped In To Help

Beginning just another work day on December 17, Officers Reuben Gonzales, David Mayer, and Ryan Babel responded to a call about a deer trapped in a canal near Lake Pleasant. Not knowing what they’d find, they simply knew that it was their duty as officers in the Arizona Game and Fish wildlife division to help save animals.

When they arrived on scene they found the deer swimming for its life, but he wasn’t alone! Watch as two heroic Good Samaritans help to save the poor creature from drowning.

Shivering, cold, and certainly exhausted, this deer is lucky to be alive. Thanks to the efforts of the officers, and especially the cowboys, he’ll live to run another day!
