Animal aid workers have some of the most intense and rewarding jobs imaginable. This deer rescue is no exception.
Simon from the Wildlife Aid Foundation was called out after a female roe deer had been struck by a car, leaving her with deep cuts on her head and apparent blunt force trauma. They quickly got the poor girl back to the animal rescue HQ where vet Emma stitched the wounds. Simon rushed the deer back to where she was found and that’s where something really dramatic and emotional unfolded. Watch to see if the deer survived!
Simon and his coworkers are guardian angels for all animals in need. It broke my heart to see him cry. Someone give him a hug!
