There are a few things in life that I’ll just never understand, and animal cruelty is pretty high up there on that list. Rescuers from Hope for Paws were confronted with the same heartbreaking confusion one day when they received a call about a dog that was abandoned in the desert outside of Los Angeles.
As they approached the dog over the course of a few months, they realized that they’d need to work to gain her trust. The only problem was that temperatures were escalating into the hundreds, and time was running out. She needed help, and she needed it right away. Luckily for her, these rescuers stopped at nothing to give her a new lease on life.
