If you own a cat or know anything about the furry guys, you understand that most felines do not enjoy going outside. So if you plan a trip, it’s probably best to get a cat sitter to look after your fluffy companion.
Gandalf the cat is different, though. Not only does this rescue like going on adventures, he thrives on them. Check out these amazing pictures to see what I mean — you might even consider getting your cat out and about in the world!
First of all, Gandalf needs to travel in his case…even though it doesn’t look like he’s a big fan of that.
On the other hand, Gandalf is a big fan of the University of Texas Longhorns and even wears a sweater to represent his pride.
This little fur ball had an excellent time in Austin, TX.
Gandalf is no stranger to snow either! But it doesn’t look like he enjoys it as much.
While at Point Arena Lighthouse, Gandalf made sure to chase after his share of birds.
But it’s not all about nature for this guy, he also enjoys urban life. Here he’s checking out Graffiti Park in Austin.
Occasionally Gandalf goes off the beaten path, but he always makes sure to get the prime photo ops, too. The Golden Gate Bridge was a must for San Fran.
He’s ever vigilant — nothing bad happens on his watch.
You’d never guess this guy was an indoor cat!

I don’t think I’ve been to any of those places that Gandalf has. I need to get out more. I’m being out-cultured by a cat for Pete’s sake!
