In Sirsi, India there’s a mother cow who has a sad, and peculiar habit. Four years ago, her calf was killed when it was struck by a city bus. To this day, she returns to the very same spot where it occurred. Not to mourn, but to wait for the same bus.
When it approaches she does something so heartbreakingly sad, we can’t help but shed a tear. Even after all this time, she just wants to prevent any other calf from perishing as a result of this machine of death.

Trying to slow the bus down down, even stop it at times, this mother cow will not relent. What’s more incredible is that she doesn’t stop any other vehicles — they even tried changing the color of the bus, to no avail. Which may prove justice in a strange way to this mother cow in the end. Because if no other calf dies at the hands of that bus, her duty will be done.
