People will go to some extreme lengths to show how serious they are about something.
Like Kaley, a 14-year-old teenager from Louisiana who is a staunch fan of the Korean pop band BTS.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Kaley says that she was acting a “little hyper” during a conversation with her friend about the group. She was sending her friend pictures of one of the members and said, “He’s so beautiful I could shove a hammer in my mouth.”
So, her friend challenged her to do it. Kaley did. And it got stuck.

“It was a little too big to fit in my mouth in the first place, but getting it out was even more of a problem.”
It took her a solid ten minutes to figure how to finally get it out of her mouth, but she was finally able to pull it free.
It still didn’t change the fact that her shame was put on display for all of Twitter to see. To say people were confused would be an understatement.
