In his most recent State of the Union address, President Obama spelled out his desire to lift the embargo on Cuba, which will allow us to have closer ties with the island nation, and, whether he knows it or not, a creature we call Monkey Pig.
What is Monkey Pig? Oh, it’s just this piglet born with a genetic malformation that makes him have weirdly simian facial features. Ever since he was born earlier this month, he’s been a huge hit amongst locals and tourists alike in the Cuban city of Ciego de Avila.
I can’t prove that our president is breaking down barriers between us and Cuba because he secretly pines for a gaze at Monkey Pig’s furrowed brow, but I can say that if that were the case, I would not blame him at all.
