Escaping the civil war in their country, this family of Syrian refugees is lucky to be alive. A heartbreaking number of Syrian citizens lose their lives every year after getting trapped in the middle of senseless violence, but fortunately for this adorable lot, they escaped to safety.
Ontario police constable David McNab and his wife Kristy Hiltz decided to co-sponsor this family of four and bring them to Canada. After they arrived in Canada, the family experienced snow for the first time. Their reaction will make you melt.
Giving these children the chance to smile and laugh is the greatest gift of all. We send so much love to this little family, and to the Canadian citizens who made it all possible.
