Something Incredibly Bizarre Happens When You Cut This Tree

When you think about it, chopping down trees is essential to social function. Without lumber, people around the world wouldn’t have homes, heat, paper to write on, and so on.

But this particular tree is incredibly weird. When you saw into it, blood squirts out. It’s known as a Bloodwood Tree, and it’s really quite odd. We’ve seen pictures of it before, but here is a video of the “bleeding” actually taking place.

Tell me that isn’t the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen. A bleeding tree? I’m glad I don’t have to chop these things down, because that’s a sight I don’t think I could deal with.
