When it comes to exploring old European cities, some of the creepiest things about them are the old statues that seem to be on every corner. They look even worse when the sun goes down. Depending on the city, it’s entirely possible that the history behind many of these statues has been lost, which really only makes them creepier.
Well, a few years ago, a prankster with a twisted sense of humor decided that it would be a good idea to pump up the terror by doing something awful.
A prankster in Scotland attached LED lights to the eyes of some of the city’s creepiest statues.
The effect is completely terrifying if you’re not expecting it.
They’re always watching.
If I were a tourist and I saw this thing, I think I would pee my pants.
“I feel like I’m being watched.”
Here’s that same statue under better lighting. Much less freaky in my opinion.

Now that is what I call the perfect amount of horror. Whoever did this deserves a medal from the International Creepy Association (if that’s even a real thing).
