Most of us are familiar with ravens and their inherent creepiness thanks to Edgar Allan Poe. However, ravens are actually very intelligent creatures. One thing that these smart birds are capable of that’s more than just a little bit creepy is their ability to mimic human voices.
It sounds a little mundane, but it’s actually insanely terrifying. Just imagine hearing a disembodied voice in the darkness continually asking you, “What’s up?! What’s up?!” Yeah, that would probably give me a heart attack.
